Peter's Place aims to provide a safe and supportive environment for grieving children and families and acts as a community resource to foster understanding of the effects of death and grief.

There are two branches to the services we offer: on-site peer support groups, and community outreach. On-site we offer groups for children ages 4-17 and their adult caregivers, as well as young adults ages 18-25. Through our outreach program, we also provide intervention and support services as well as workshops and trainings to schools, organizations and professionals in our community.
- Grief is a natural reaction to death
- Grieving people do not need to be "fixed," but they do benefit from support
- Within each individual is the natural capacity to heal him/herself
- Duration and intensity of grief are unique for each individual
